Does provocative nudity cause harm??
Last night we were talking about the impact of films in our real life first time in our gossip we were sharing the similar thought untill the matter of *Rape* came in our discussion
I was shocked that the matter of *Rape* was comprehended differently
When my friends were saying that nudity in films is also a reason of rape then there came a question in my mind "does provocative nudity cause harm?" And i decided that i will write something on it
According to human psychology human mindset is a set of assumption which is based upon observation
We observe what we see in our real and virtual life and what we see depends on where we exist i mean what type of society and surrounding we have
The way nudity is being served in our films It is damaging our society by changing our assumption
So there comes a question that how does it change or affect our assumption ?
Music and films are a part of our daily life we are listening and watching them everyday in our life if we face something repeatedly we start making an assumption.
The way nudity is being glorified it forces us to justify nudity...we have to admit that nudity and objectification of women are two similar thing ...
There is a term in psychology called "cognitive dissonance" which means the comprehension of incompatibilty of two contemporaneous perception
When we start justifying the wrong deeds indirectly we start creating congnitive dissonance
which encourages us to act like a degenerate
We are growing up by listening and watching "
Main to tanduri murgi hoon yaar
Gatkale saiyan alcohol se" etc so we are not going to resemble the image of Raja Harishchandra in future
How the generation is being raised matters the most
Nudity helps in gender discrmination against women.suppose if a man is watching a porn at that time he must be thinking that women are sexual object and from there he starts discriminating gender.
Now a days approx 250 films are releasing every year and our producers and directors are serving nudity in every film just to get success on box office
I am totally against "item songs" too
Because word *item* itself defines the women as an object
such songs have a negative impact on children when they watch such songs and dances they react in the same manner
I am not against nudity if charachter and the story demand in that context it is ok if we show its consequence too but serving it for the sake of publicity and box office success is not only wrong but it is condemnable
Film making is an art of expression not an art of provocation.
Instead of giving some moral lesson we are giving our generation the ideas to rape,to torture,to molest to abuse
At this junture we need to think and understand that we are not shaping our generation for a bright world we are pushing them in to the dark
Our constitution has given everyone the freedom of expression so it is our moral obligation to shape our society by our films for a better world
